THE DRESSED DOWN yet DEBONAIR GUIDE
Our aim at Master Debonair is to make you feel good whether that be in a three-piece suit or in more casual attire. We understand that not everyone lives in a three-piece and that they might only come out on a special occasion or for work. However, you can look just as debonair in a more casual style. Here is our 'dressed down yet debonair guide' which can help you put some day to day looks together! Simply click the images to shop the look.
1. SIMPLY ADD A T-SHIRT AND TRAINERS
Here we have Sartorial John in our Robert Simon grey check suit with his favourite Lacuzzo white sneakers. Swap the waistcoat and shirt for that white t-shirt in the back of your wardrobe and you will look effortlessly debonair. The perfect attire for a night out with your friends! Adding trainers also dresses down the look, you don't always have to wear formal shoes to look smart!
2. ADD A ROLL NECK AND JEANS
Pete Wicks is looking dapper in our Fratelli Fleck Blazer, however in a more casual styling. Our in-house stylist Sally has complemented the Fratelli Tan Blazer with a black roll neck, Guide London jeans and brown brogues. Adding a roll neck with jeans and a blazer is a great way to style a smart yet casual look this autumn. Again, a statement style for a Saturday night without looking too formal.
3. DON'T FORGET YOUR FLATCAP
The most debonair accessory every gentleman must own - the flat cap. Here is Pete Wicks sporting the look in the Fratelli Tan, paired with Guide London Jeans, a look which screams luxury British style. We have a selection of flat and baker boy caps you can shop from that you can add to any of your MD looks. This Carloway Harris Tweed Herringbone hat is new in at MD.
4. PAIR A POLO SHIRT WITH CHINOS
Follow in Sartorial Chris' style footsteps and wear the Herbie Frogg polo with a pair of chinos. This look is the definition of effortlessly cool. Polo shirts and chinos are great items to wear during the day as they are comfortable yet create a subtle statement. The polo could be worn tucked in or out of the trousers. If chinos aren't your thing, pair the polo with some jeans.
5. WEAR LAYERS
If traditional etiquette is your style then you will love this classic look. The English weather is always unpredictable so layers are important. Take any of our MD shirts and wear a Herbie Frogg sweater over the top. They are in sale now, you don't want to miss out on this discounted price!
6. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WEAR A THREE-PIECE
You can still look immaculately tailored without wearing a full three-piece suit. There are no rules when it comes to looking debonair, you can mix and match creating any fashion combination which suits you! Sartorial Joe has made a statement in two combinations, wearing the Robert Simon Windowpane Blazer and Waistcoat both paired with jeans. However, you can wear the Fratelli Trousers and a T-Shirt if you prefer!
7. MIX AND MATCH WITH SHORTS
Keeping cool while looking cool in the heat is important. Try the open shirt look with a T-shirt underneath like Sartorial John. Complemented with denim shorts for a subtly stylish finish. A great way to style your go-to shirt in a new way! If this isn't for you follow Sartorial Joe's look this summer and go for a buttoned shirt with chino shorts.
