Wardrobe Picks For A Weekend Away

Master Debonair's choice clothing for a weekend away.
I’m all about sensible packing; you don’t want to waste precious time thinking of what you are going to wear whilst away. Make sure you pack a few staple pieces that you can mix and match.
Pack a coat that you can wear 24/7. The Cavani Navy hooded Jacket will never let you down, it is light enough to pack and looks great layered with the Guide London Charcoal Roll Neck.
Chinos can be worn as a causal trouser or a smart pant, I like to wear mine with a pair of Jasper Boots but you might prefer a more toned down look by wearing them with a crisp white sneaker.
Whenever I get the chance, I like to escape to the countryside for a bit of peace and quiet. The Cavani Grey Check Bomber Jacket is an essential piece to take away with you, it is smart enough to wear to dinner but also casual enough to wear on a walk with jeans.
I’m desperate for a dog so I have also included the Guide London Burgundy Striped Pug Print Shirt and dog pin.
Whatever the weather always pack a scarf, whether you need it to wrap up or you just need to use it as a shawl for a night if the temperature drops.
And lastly, enjoy yourself!
I live for a city break, give me 3 days in Amsterdam over a sandy holiday any day. I try to visit 10 cities a year, which means I spend a lot of time in airports. I can’t stand how long you have to wait to get through baggage control, which is why I make sure I can fit everything into my Harris Tweed Briefcase.
I make sure I wear anything heavy onto the plane so it doesn’t take up all the room in my carry on. The Cavani Charcoal Check Overcoat is perfect for a city break; it can take you from day to night and looks great with a suit pant or jean.
Also make sure to wear any dress shoes whilst travelling, they take up a lot of room and are also a heavy item. The Barker Paisley Brogue are a pair of the comfiest shoes I have ever worn: you could walk the streets all day and wouldn’t be in pain.
You can fold the Guide London Camel Jumper into the smallest parcel to put into your bag, it looks great on its own or layered over a white shirt.
Cheers om het weekend!
With Easter weekend only three weeks away, I have booked a four-day mini break to Paris. I have never been to Paris before, I have wanted to go for years and just never got round to booking anything. I literally spend every night making Pinterest boards of what to wear and researching the best places to eat and drink.
I’m useless at packing light, you would think I was moving house when I only go away for a night! I normally just throw my entire wardrobe in a case and hope for the best but this time I will certainly be finding room for the Cavani Grey Tweed Bomber, Guide London Black Crew Neck and a pair of dark blue jeans.
